NOT THE ANSWER!

It’s hard not to believe the world would be relieved

if someone would just take out Donald and Bibi.

But don’t give in to this i-de-a because

all prior his-to-ry slow-> doth give us p-a-u-s-e!……(long pause)

Whe-en it’s been done, i-it has not won

peace and tran-quill-i-ty.

Instead it has created martyrs galore

with more viole-ence and go-ore!

What we have to do is a lot more nu-anced.

We must use hu-MANE ways to try to influence

what happens in our world both near and a-far.

We must reach out, not just wish on a star!

Ask those whom you dis-a-gree with

what their worries are.

Listen to what they say and do not run a-way.

Find common gro-ound!…. Don’t spar!

If you think someone votes a-gainst their own int’rests,

it’s likely because you’ve not walked in their footsteps.

Do not assume they are so diff’rent from you.

Ev‘ryone has a u-nique point of view.

We need healing. Not more hating.

We need u-ni-ty.

Try focusing on what we all have in common.

That’s how we wi-i-in WITHOUT WAR!
