I’m no longer proud to be an American today

when ev‘ry-thing that we hold dear is being swept a-way…

by a pres-i-dent who’s set his sights on fascist pow‘r full sway!

He’s completely destroyin’ the rights that have made us the U S A!

Clearly now our pres-i-dent‘s a full-blown so-cio-path!

Yet no one’s stepped up to prevent him taking out his wrath…

on anyone who e-ven dares to disagree with him.

If someone doesn’t step up soon the rule of law will end!

His wealthy minions have no cares a-bout the working class.

Like him, they’re bus-y trading shares, enriching their own ass!

Whether you lean to-o-o the right or left, please listen to this plea!

Please don’t trade de-moc-ra-cy for a dic-ta-tor’s de-cree!

Don’t give up our protest rights, ’cause that’s the only power

poor and working people have over those in iv’ry towers!
