CAPITALISM IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!

Capital is just word that simply means money.

So, cap‘talism is an i-deolo-gy

in which those who are wealthy….(pause)… always get their way.

It lets the rich get richer and the rest of us must pay!

Social, on the other hand, is based on old Latin.

And guess what that word means…(pause)… it simply means “friend.”

So, socialism is an i-deolo-gy

with a goal of everyone being treated equally!

That’s why we now find ourselves in the mess we’re in.

Fooled into thinkin’ cap’tal-is-m is our friend,

and even led to think that it’s democracy,

although the two have zero com-pat-i-bil-i-ty!

Socialism is the way that we can remain free.

If we want to achieve and sustain democracy,

it must start in workplaces all o-ver this country.

Workers must become the owners of their companies.
